Effective date: 20 July 2025
Thank you for choosing Divi Diary. This Privacy Policy explains how Divi Diary treats information and personal data when you download and use the Divi Diary Android application (the "App") available on the Google Play Store. Our goal is to be clear and transparent: Divi Diary does not collect personal data from users.
We do not collect any of the following:
All user-created content — including notes, goals, and any calendar events the App creates — is stored locally on your Android device. By default, this data is private to your device and is not transmitted to any servers or third parties by the App.
Important: If you choose to export or back up your notes or goals (for example: share, export to a file, or sync using a third-party service that you configure yourself), that exported data is handled by the chosen export destination or service and is not processed by Divi Diary developers. Always review the privacy practices of any service where you store exports.
The App may request certain permissions to enable optional features. Examples include:
You can decline any permission; core features of the App that do not require that permission will continue to work normally. Android gives you full control to grant or revoke permissions in your device settings at any time.
Divi Diary itself does not integrate analytics, tracking, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting services. However, the distribution platform (Google Play Store) and other system services outside our control may collect certain information about app installs, crashes, or basic device metadata for the purpose of providing and maintaining the Play Store and developer console services. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
Examples of third-party entities you may interact with include:
We do not have access to, nor do we collect, any data from these services beyond what these services themselves collect as part of normal platform operation.
Because we do not collect or store your personal data on servers, there is no server-side data to delete. All user content is kept on your device. To remove your data:
Divi Diary is not intended for users under the age required by local law to consent to app usage without parental permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information (for example via an exported file), please contact us (see the Contact section) so we can advise on how best to remove or secure that information.
We take reasonable steps to protect data stored locally by the App. However, no method of storage on a device is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining secure access to your device (for example: PIN, passcode, biometric protection). We recommend enabling device-level security and performing regular backups as you see fit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, present a notice within the App or on the store listing. Please review this policy periodically.
